It rains today.
And one news comes.

Asahidake ski area opens from 7th Dec.
09:00 to 15:40, gondora departures every 20 minites,
open B course to C course only.
snow is 150cm high.

1st day will be awesome powder.

Hi.

I did a short research in Kuwaunnnai river, Tenninkyo, Hokkaido.
Not much useful info i got because i did not have enough time with things to do.
What a shame.

But, it was enough time to know and pre-research of one of the best shower climbing spot
of the nation. Kuwauunnai river. May be a shower climbing is not so common outdoor sports
in the world ,but it is so as a summer activity for some kind outdoor lovers in Japan.

I definitely must try this spot with proper gears and enough time in next summer.
Swimming in fresh water is beautiful.

This wild animal is pretty rare to see. The max size would be 60cm.

I went to Toma-nokkosi today.

Toma-nokkosi is between Asahidake to Aizankei-onsen.

This place is quite close to Susoai-daira junction.

Anyway, the point is... this place is less people and quiet. I had a movie today.

You enjoy the scenary that beutiful cloud moves slowly.

I loved to watch it. It is breathtaking isn't it?

Hi.

I went to Tenninkyo.
This is nice spot to visit with family.

There is one small shrine at entrance. Before get into this park, you should try traditonal
ceremony for respect the local spot. The method is 1 bow 2 crap hands and 2 bow.
This is the style.

I gatta show you some more pics of Tenninkyo when I visit next time.

It was a cloudy day today.

Even the weather was not clear, visiters come a lot on Sundays.

Popple look happy at this mountain.

I tried to capture the volcanoes, check that out.

This volcano steam of 98% is just water steam, other 2% is a kaind of gas at Asahidake.

But, just in case that do not get too close for safety.

It was beautiful blue sky in morning. Changed to a foggy day after 10a.m.
That is really mountain weather. Yes, no way it is the highest mountain in Hokkaido.
The weather can be harsh in 2 seconds.

You should come to see beautiful nature of Hokkaido.
Taisetsu area is just amazing.

Hello.

There are two ways driving along Lake Chubetsu near Taisetsu-zan National Park.
I took southern road to check the different scenary I see every day.

Then, I took a photo of this. I timed it just right.

If I take customers here, it is excellent place for relax kayaking and swimming.
Put a base camp just beside the lake and make a small fire for keep you warm.
Bring some fresh as meat and veges for BBQ. Ofcourse beer, wine and sake or so on.

Chill out.

For safety issues, I will check the weather forcast before I come and also will have a contact with local city council for have some info about the lake. If I could that I might prepare an engine boat for own rescue. etc etc.
